An arrest order from the investigating judge of the Milan court for Artem Uss , the Russian entrepreneur son of an oligarch very close to Vladimir Putin who escaped last March 22 from an apartment in the Milan area where he was under house arrest with an electronic bracelet, and a bounty up to 7 million placed by the US State Department for those who provide useful information to track and block him.

These are the developments in the case of the entrepreneur who the day after his extradition to the United States was given the green light - where he is accused of alleged illicit trafficking of "dual use" civil and military material, of smuggling oil from Venezuela to China and Russia by evading sanctions, as well as money laundering and bank fraud - disappeared and returned to Russia.

An affair, for which there was a risk of a diplomatic incident with the USA, which has now led the Milan investigating judge Anna Magelli to issue a precautionary custody order in prison for escape and attempted escape against the USS himself and other five people : Vladimir and Boris Jovancic, father and son of Bosnian origins, Matej Janezic, Slovenian, and Srdjan Lolic and Nebojsa Ilic, Serbians. The first two were blocked yesterday afternoon: the bassist Vladimir in Desenzano, his son Boris in Croatia.

From the investigations, as reported in the order, Uss's escape and escape plan is divided into four phases : from preliminary inspections to the abduction of the entrepreneur from the apartment he was renting in Cascina Vione, a residential complex in Basiglio; from being accompanied to the border in Gorizia, from where he then passed to Slovenia to finally reach Russia. A woman is also involved, who is only under investigation: she is said to have made available the Fiat Bravo in which Uss, on March 22, around 1.40 pm, sat down in the back seat after being picked up from home.

The car, according to the camera footage, was driven by Boris Jovancic, born in Negrar, in the province of Verona, while his father Vladimir was at his side. The entrepreneur reached the border, after changing cars, escorted by "a real caravan" made up of 4 cars which became three in Lonate del Garda. But the investigations also documented the inspections - at least 5 - of the accomplices, which took place between February and March, aimed at organizing the plan in the previous weeks.
