Filippo Turetta , now in prison in Verona, will find himself tomorrow before the Venice prosecutor Andrea Petroni who has scheduled an interrogation after the brief confessional statements to the investigating judge. Also tomorrow , the autopsy will be held on the body of Giulia Cecchettin, which will be able to shed light on the methods of the terrible attack on the student, who fought to defend herself.

In a piece of paper read two days ago before judge Benedetta Vitolo, the young man mentioned a mental blackout, leaving room, however, for a desire to collaborate with the investigators. He explained that he is trying to reconstruct "in memory" what "triggered" in his head that evening of November 11, between Vigonovo and Fossò.

The first results of the autopsy tests could provide answers on the number of stab wounds (about twenty, according to the first inspection of the body) and on which blade was used by Turetta: the 12 centimeter one recovered in the car in Germany or the 21 centimeter knife. centimeters found broken in the car park on Via Aldo Moro. Or both. It will also be necessary to ascertain whether there are wounds of another nature, from kicks or punches. And whether Turetta attacked Cecchettin when she was still alive.

This could lead the Prosecutor's Office to contest the aggravating circumstance of cruelty, while the interrogation will focus on the hypothesis of premeditation. It is also essential to establish the time frame, that is, whether Giulia died around 11.40pm, when the cameras in the industrial area of Fossò filmed the last phase of the attack, or whether she was still alive when she was loaded into the car before Filippo's escape .

Meanwhile, the carabinieri conducting the investigation are ready to collect Turetta's car in the next few days - who will soon be transferred from the infirmary department of the prison to the "protected" section - with the seized artefacts, including one of the knives. And a series of unrepeatable investigations will be carried out in the coming weeks, such as those on the traces of blood, on the car and on the knives, all entrusted to the Parma Ris.
