After last year's allegations of harassment, the spotlight is on the 94th meeting of the Alpini.

The rally starts today and will be held in Udine, with the grand finale on Sunday. Nobody wants what happened in 2022 in Rimini to repeat itself when at the end of the event some women reported having suffered harassment.
From Thursday to Sunday the center of Udine will be invaded by the black pens: 500,000 are expected in the Friulian capital, including spectators. The highlight will be the parade on Sunday. And while Udine and its surroundings gear up to welcome the gathering, with ad hoc plans for safety and mobility, the Alpini reiterate: «The supervision for the protection of public order also in the 94th assembly will certainly be guaranteed by the forces of the 'order".
For a year the Alpini have prepared with handbooks against gender-based violence. But they are already slipping again, launching the warning not to give in to ad hoc orchestrated "provocations" : «On the part of the Alpini there is a firm will not to respond to any provocation orchestrated by groups who want to disturb the beautiful, clean and healthy of every Alpine gathering, creating situations, such as in Rimini, in which someone has exaggerated by blaming the black feathers», says the group leader of Ana Udine Centro, Lucio Favero.

Words that anger the feminists of Non una di meno who wonder " what kind of training did the Alpini have in their much-vaunted project against violence against women if they turn out to be "disturbed" by the testimonies we have collected" and if they think that there are such "orchestrations", and consider "vain" the "hope that for this year in Udine a plan for safety and security will be thought of that also takes into account gender issues, with specific training for security personnel" .

And they recall that, on Rimini, there are still "pending investigations, many of which with red code".
