The student demonstration in Rome organized after the events in Pisa, Florence and Catania, with police charges and truncheon beatings on students, has ended. The procession culminated with a sit-in a few meters from the Interior Ministry: after reaching the ministry square, the boys returned to the Opera theater and the garrison disbanded.

The event begins in the afternoon with the arrival of the kids one by one, to the tune of "Casa mia" by Ghali resounding from the speakers. Serious faces, they display colorful signs: "You have blood on your hands"; "Censorship plus truncheons equals fascism"; "We want culture, you give us violence"; "Poor homeland, crushed by the abuses of power"; "Sorry, resign!".

Then, suddenly, they start lighting smoke bombs and all run together in front of the Interior Ministry, chanting slogans and singing 'Bella Ciao'. There are over two thousand, just under half according to the police

The Anpi, Arci and CGIL, political exponents of the Pd, Avs, M5s, universities and collectives joined the demonstration. The M5S leader Giuseppe Conte arrived in the square together with Nicola Zingaretti for the Pd and Massimiliano Smeriglio for Avs. Numerous parliamentarians and M5s exponents: Riccardo Ricciardi, Stefano Patuanelli, Alessandra Maiorino, Filippo Scerra, Vittoria Baldino, Luigi Nave. There are also the city councilors Diaco and Meleo. The initial meeting is in front of the Opera House, a few meters from the Viminale, the "home" of those policemen who did not go lightly in Pisa and Florence. But the objective is that, so much so that in the end the improvised procession manages to reach the ministry. The boys stop in the square, watched closely by the police: nothing happens, fortunately.
