The Rome Prosecutor's Office is investigating corruption and disclosure of official secrets in connection with the Messina Strait Bridge project.

According to a statement released by the Judicial Office, the office has delegated the Carabinieri of the ROS (Special Operations Squad) to execute a search warrant against three individuals, including a former deputy president of the Court of Auditors (retired since last February), a lawyer who was a former board member of the company "Stretto di Messina Spa," and an entrepreneur.
