Following the "My Wife" scandal, the sexist website Phica.eu has also shut down following the controversy . Its operators announced the removal of all content , also issuing a message to users: "If your rights have been violated, write to us and we will fix it. Phica was born as a personal sharing platform, with a dedicated space for those who wanted to certify themselves and share content in a safe environment. Unfortunately, there are always people who misuse platforms, damaging their spirit and original purpose."
Dozens and dozens of reports are arriving at the Postal Police from all over Italy from women who have discovered stolen photos of them on this and other online platforms.
Investigations are underway to track down the managers of sites and forums that contain photos of politicians ( including Giorgia Meloni, Elly Schlein, numerous parliamentarians, and even Sardinian politicians), actresses, and influencers, and to identify the authors of the offensive comments.
Prime Minister Meloni also weighed in on the case: "I am disgusted ," she commented, as reported by Corriere della Sera, "by what happened and I want to extend my solidarity and closeness to all the women who have been offended, insulted, and violated in their privacy by the managers of this forum and its users ." "It is disheartening," the Prime Minister added, "to note that in 2025 there are still those who consider it normal and legitimate to trample on a woman's dignity and target her with sexist and vulgar insults, hiding behind anonymity or a keyboard."
