A new surgery, which lasted 5 hours, for Stefano Tacconi. The former Juve goalkeeper underwent surgery at the Molinette hospital in Turin for the recanalization and reconstruction of the femoral artery.

The decision after the evaluation of the "serious picture of arterial ischemia of the right lower limb" with obstruction of the artery "from aorta to femur", explains a note from the Città della Salute hospital.

A pathology - it is specified - "not related" to the previous one, i.e. the cerebral hemorrhage from a ruptured aneurysm that affected the former goalkeeper in April 2022, in the province of Asti.

Tacconi, who appeared "clear and asymptomatic", was transferred to the Molinette hospital intensive care unit.
