We return to solar time. The changeover is expected during the night between Saturday and Sunday. In detail, at 3, the hands will be moved back by 60 minutes: an extra hour of sleep for Sunday morning and for all other days one less hour of light in the evening.

We will have to wait until Sunday 31 March to return to daylight saving time.

At the basis of the reasons that also led Italy to adopt the dual variation is the saving in electricity consumption.

In our country the stable summer time system was only adopted in 1966.
