For this reason , a 48-year-old man from Gallipoli received a warning from the Police Commissioner of Lecce. Over the last few weeks, he has been responsible for the crimes of persecution, damage, serious threats and personal injury against his ex-wife.

The provision issued, the police announced, «provides without time limit the obligation to immediately maintain conduct compliant with the law and to cease any harassing, persecutory behavior or violent conduct , be it physical, psychological, verbal or economic towards of the victim."
