The road has now been traced, and the "super Green pass" is making great strides. From scientists and doctors to governors and ministers, the audience of those who invoke him expands with the passing of days.

The timing includes, after the government-regions meeting and a series of technical meetings, the control room and the subsequent Council of Ministers, perhaps on Thursday. Here the first measures could be decided, such as the reduction of the validity of the certificate to 9 months and the obligation of third doses for health personnel and RSA, but it is not excluded that the executive decides to postpone everything to the following week, launching a single package that also includes the so-called "super Green pass". It should go into effect in December, said the Minister of Public Administration Renato Brunetta.

WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT IS FOR - We would switch to the German and Austrian “2G” model. The squeeze on the unvaccinated will not affect transport, as was also assumed. The Ministry of Infrastructure reiterated today, the unions themselves argue that without ad hoc personnel controls would be "impossible". And it will not even concern the offices, it will be possible to continue to go to work with the current certificate, also obtainable by means of a negative swab (the duration could be reduced, to 48 hours for the molecular and 24 for the antigenic, which some experts would like to exclude from the requirements for obtaining the Green pass).

Excluding the use of the vaccination obligation for all (but it could be extended to some categories such as school staff and law enforcement), at the table there is the intention to deny the unvaccinated access to social services. We are talking about cinemas, theaters, places of culture, bars and restaurants, stadiums, gyms. But only if you end up in the yellow zone, a prospect that if the infections were to increase again is close for various Regions. It is no coincidence that - Coldiretti estimates - one in ten Italians has decided to anticipate Christmas shopping.

On the vaccine front, an attempt is being made to widen the audience of immunized people as much as possible: from Monday the administration of the third dose opens to the over 40s, while an advance of the "booster" dose is considered, no longer after six but five months after the second.

THE DECLARATIONS - A squeeze that appears inevitable. "We need measures as soon as possible", asks the president of the Conference of Regions and governor of Friuli (who already has data from the yellow zone) Massimiliano Fedriga.

That of the super Green pass is a decision that "on the one hand it will be able to convince the last undecided, on the other hand it will give certainty to companies", continues Fedriga. "If we do not intervene, the result is that if a Region passes in the orange or red zone closed for everyone, it is not that it does not close for anyone ".

No discrimination: "Nobody is excluded, but to those with a lower propensity to hospitalization risk we say 'you can do a little more things'".

Luigi Di Maio also reiterates the same concept: "The alternative to Green Pass and vaccines is to close everything, we cannot afford it nor do we want it". While the Undersecretary of Health Andrea Costa is asking at this moment "to make the sense of responsibility prevail" and launches an appeal to the fans: "Wear masks at the stadium".
