The first convictions arrive for the assault on the CGIL which took place last October in Rome during a demonstration against the Green pass.

At the end of the trial with an abbreviated procedure, the GUP inflicted six sentences between 4 and a half and 6 years in prison . Accepted the accusatory system of the prosecutor Gianfederica Dito, who disputes the crimes of devastation and resistance to a public official.

Six years were inflicted on Fabio Corradetti, son of the companion of Forza Nuova leader Giuliano Castellino, and on Massimiliano Ursino, Palermo leader of the neo-fascist formation.

In another tranche of the proceedings, seven other people are judged with the ordinary rite, including the national leaders of Forza Nuova Roberto Fiore and Giuliano Castellino .

The secretary of the CGIL Maurizio Landini is satisfied, who recalls the "very serious damage" inflicted on the headquarters of the trade union organization and applauds the decision to qualify the incident as a crime of devastation, because "in this way the extreme gravity of the actions was ascertained and the conduct of the accused to the detriment of the CGIL ".

The events took place last October 9: several no Green pass demonstrators deviated from the massive procession underway in Rome and stormed the union headquarters, breaking down the doors and devastating it inside. Among them many exponents of Forza Nuova, including the national leaders of the party.
