Until February 10, access to public transport for travel to and from the smaller islands is also possible with the basic Green pass, so a negative swab is enough and vaccination or recovery from Covid is not necessary.

But only and exclusively if you travel for health and study reasons, for all other reasons you need the reinforced Green pass.

This is what is stated in an ordinance of the Ministry of Health adopted on the proposal of the Ministry of Transport. Ordinance, also valid for the Regions with special statutes and for the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, which comes on the eve of the entry into force of the Super Green pass on transport: the problem of the right to mobility of non-citizens had been raised by many vaccinated who live in the smaller islands (many are also found in Sardinia), areas that are already heavily penalized in terms of services and mobility.

The government has decided to put a piece of it, at this point it will be necessary to bring with them a self-certification that motivates the move, it is assumed.

The ordinance also provides that dedicated school transport is not equated to local public transport with regard to the discipline of Covid-19 green certifications and is accessible until 10 February to students even over 12 years of age with only the obligation of an Ffp2 mask.

The provision states that the basic Green pass is required for "access and use of public transport for travel to and from the smaller islands and the Venice Lagoon for documented health and frequency reasons, for students aged 12 or over, in primary, lower and upper secondary school courses, without prejudice to the obligation to wear respiratory protection devices of type Ffp2 ".
