There is a suspect for the tragedy that claimed the life of Clelia Ditano, the 25-year-old who fell in the elevator shaft in Fasano (Brindisi).

According to what is reported by the Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, the administrator of the building in via Piave has received a notice of guarantee.

Technical checks will have to be carried out which will firstly concern the lift to verify the causes of the malfunction and possession of the authorisations, and then the girl's mobile phone. The hypothesis of crime is that of manslaughter.

Part of the funeral expenses will be paid by a 26-year-old young man, originally from Milan and owner of a tattoo artist's business in Mesagne. The young man explained that he didn't know Clelia Ditano but he "read her tragic story" and "really empathized" because he too "suffered the early death four years ago" of his sister who was just 19 years old.

An investigation is underway to reconstruct the last moments of the life of Clelia Ditano who, after going up to the house to leave her bag and other personal effects, wanted to go down to the ground floor again but fell into the void, as the elevator cabin was not at that moment present on the fourth floor as she believed.
