Three convictions for complicity in the voluntary murder of Luca Sacchi , three years of imprisonment for Anastasiya Kylemnyk, the ex-girlfriend accused of violating the drug law. This is what was decided by the judges of the first Court of Assizes of Rome for the murder of the personal trainer killed with a gunshot to the head on the night between 23 and 24 October 2019 during a robbery.

The judges accepted the accusatory system by inflicting 27 years on Valerio Del Grosso, who shot Sacchi point-blank, and 25 years on Paolo Pirino, who took part in the action. Same sentence to Marcello De Propris, who handed over the weapon used to shoot. Acquitted Armando De Propris, Marcello's father, accused of holding the gun. The judges, after more than 10 hours in council chambers, ordered a provisional payment of over 1 million euros in favor of the Sacchi family and a fine of 30 thousand for Anastasiya Kylemnyk.

"We are satisfied, there was no life sentence but 27 years are a long time - commented Alfonso Sacchi, father of the victim -. Justice was done. I don't know what to say about Anastasiya, never a word from her . In the courtroom with us only Armando De Propris apologized, she did not. " Sacchi's mother, Tina Galati, limited herself to saying that "they gave us life imprisonment, Luca died to help Anastasiya and he should remember this for life".

Sacchi's murder took place as part of a negotiation between Luca Princi, a friend of Sacchi and definitively sentenced to 3 years for violation of the drug law, and a group of drug dealers in the San Basilio district. In fact, Princi allegedly put in the backpack that Anastasiya Kylemnyk had with him that night the 70 thousand euros necessary for the purchase of drugs. Never found money and drugs.

Also for this reason, during the indictment, the prosecutor said he did not know why Sacchi was killed. "The reason escapes me today. The backpack was in Pirino's hands. The trigger was pressed by Valerio Del Grosso with gratuitous violence ... there was no reason - said prosecutor Giulia Guccione during the indictment in which he had asked for a life sentence and two 30-year sentences -. The bullet went through Luca's head and left him no way out ". For the prosecution Princi and Anastasiya - the latter also appeared as an injured party in the trial - held "an obstacle to ascertaining the truth of the facts" and in particular the young woman "lied and changed her version several times" but " Fortunately, the misdirections did not hit the mark and today it was possible to clarify the context in which the murder took place ".
