The accident occurred late yesterday evening in Rome, in the Tuscolano area.

From an initial reconstruction carried out by the local police, a 19-year-old was behind the wheel of her car when it skidded and hit two men on the side of the road. One, aged 65, died instantly. The other, 61, was rescued and taken to hospital under code red, his life was not in danger.

The driver, who was traveling alone, did not suffer any consequences but was subjected to tests on her alcohol and drug status. The car was seized.
