The tragedy occurred in Monte Migliore, a hamlet of Roma Capitale. The victim is Anna Vacca, 83 years old, originally from Loceri, who moved to Rome in the 1960s.

The elderly woman died after being hit by the balcony of her house, which collapsed: renovation work was underway in the building. The firefighters responded to the scene.

According to what we understand, the alarm was raised by some workers who were carrying out work on the first floor of the house.

Suddenly, for reasons that are being examined by the state police and the labor inspectorate, the walkable concrete part of the balcony collapsed. The old woman was crushed under the rubble.

The woman's body was seized by the Rome Prosecutor's Office.
