"You had a relationship with my girlfriend", abused and tortured: four arrests

They kidnapped and tortured a boy they knew, accusing him of having had an affair with the partner of one of them.
Four people were arrested by the police in Catanzaro, accused for various reasons of torture, aggravated personal injuries, kidnapping, private violence, illegal possession of a firearm, robbery, all crimes aggravated by the mafia method .
The young victim was saved, but risked his life and suffered serious injuries .
The brutal attack took place in two distinct phases on 26 and 27 October last, in the northern district of Catanzaro. The victim had been seeing her attackers for some time, who during the torture evoked membership in a criminal group.
Accused of having had an affair with the partner of one of his captors, the boy was subjected to a very violent interrogation in the Cavaglioti area, during which he was beaten and threatened with a pistol . The next day he was taken back to the same place and tortured, suffering life-threatening injuries . The attackers then also reported some of the victim's family members so that they would not press charges.
