«Take dad away, he always hits mom. Help me!". These are the requests that a 12-year-old boy shouted at the window to get someone's attention while, at home in Lacco Ameno, yet another attack by his father was underway. A case that brings us back to that of a few days ago, in Biella, where in a school a student expressed the desire to become a policeman when he grows up in order to arrest his father, who treats his mother badly .

The story of Lacco Ameno, on the island of Ischia, ended with the arrest of a 50-year-old originally from Sri Lanka. It's evening and, like many other times, the man is returning home drunk. He drinks often - his wife will tell us - and when he does he is always aggressive. He opens the door, the woman prepares to defend herself. Grab your smartphone and wait for the attack to film everything. Punctually, after about ten minutes, the man starts screaming and destroying objects. He threatens his wife and son to burn the applications for residence permits, which he begins to look for. He finds them, but the wife - between slaps and punches - manages to get those important papers back and passes them to her 12-year-old son to hide them. The husband, however, notices it and so now the focus becomes the child. He takes him, grabs him, tugs him until his pajamas are torn. He punches him in the head and neck. The woman, desperate, intervenes and stands between the two, receiving more punches and a strong kick to the abdomen. At that point, the child takes courage, looks out the window and screams, asking for help. At that moment some traffic policemen were in the area and heard his cries. They alerted the police operations center and the gazelle reached the house in a few minutes. The 50-year-old was arrested for family mistreatment and was taken to prison in Poggioreale, while mother and son were taken to the Rizzoli hospital in Lacco Ameno. The prognosis is 5 days for the injuries suffered but the boy remains hospitalized and under observation as a precaution. Many punches were taken to the head, which is why doctors remain cautious.
