"At a certain point Andreea took and left, as if in a hurry she wanted to leave, she asked for the phone several times, Simone (her boyfriend, ed) wanted to try to hold her back, I also tried to calm her down, however she was quite agitated. At one point I went out for a moment, then they all went out and she took and left and sent us with her finger to that country. Was there anyone waiting for you? I really think so, it would not explain all this haste to leave ".

This was stated by Francesco, owner of the land with cottage and caravan in the countryside of Montecarotto (Ancona) from where Andreea Rabciuc, 27 years old of Romanian origin, left on the morning of March 18 making her tracks go missing.

For the disappearance, her boyfriend Simone Gresti, 43, is under investigation for kidnapping.

Also according to Francesco's story, Simone kept the girl's cell phone, after the two had quarreled several times throughout the night during an evening in which two other people participated, including Francesco himself who was heard by the carabinieri as a person informed of the facts.

“Andreea didn't give him the phone - the man recalled - but in the end Simone had it in his hand”. The reasons for the discussion? "Couple quarrels, maybe there was even a bit of jealousy".

With the same phone Andreea had texted on the afternoon of 11 March with her ex-boyfriend Daniele, with whom she had remained on good terms. "She wanted to change her life, go back to being what the real Andreea was" Daniele told the microphones of Mattino 5.
