All the circumstances that led to the serious injury of Hasib Omerovic, a 36-year-old deaf-mute who fell from the window of his house during what his relatives call a "police search", need to be clarified. The man is now in a coma.

It happened in Rome, in the Primavalle district, on July 25th. After the complaint presented by relatives on 10 August, the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office opened a file for attempted murder .

According to the man's sister, who is also suffering from a disability, the agents entered the apartment and asked Omerovic for documents as well. "I heard the ring and I opened the door - said the woman in the complaint presented to the Public Prosecutor - a woman and men dressed normally entered the house. The woman closed the shutter of the living room window. They asked for my documents. brother".

According to the girl, the 36-year-old would have been frightened and locked himself in his room . At that point the agents would have forced the door. "They beat him with the stick, he fell and started kicking him ... he ran into the room and shut himself up ... they broke the door ... they punched and kicked him ... they took him from the foot and threw him down ".

INTERROGATION - This morning a press conference was held in the Chamber of Deputies in the presence of Fatima Sejdovic, the victim's mother, of the deputy Riccardo Magi, of Carlo Stasolla, spokesman of the 21 July Association and of the family's lawyers. On the matter, Magi presented a parliamentary question to the Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese : "It is not clear why the police entered the house and asked" Hasib Omerovic "for the documents or why he was given any photographs. The family members are not aware of any reports against him or of any specific investigation activities carried out by the PG (surveys, photographs), neither upon their arrival on the spot nor subsequently ".

Magi therefore asks the owner of the Interior Ministry if she is "aware of the affair and if, beyond the jurisdictional profiles of the judicial authority, she does not consider starting an internal investigation as a matter of urgency to shed light on the objectives and methods of the 'intervention by the state police and on any violations, including disciplinary ones, if there is a service report on the intervention and what is its content ".
