The Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigation into the Garlasco crime against Andrea Sempio , believing him to be responsible for the murder of Chiara Poggi , killed on 13 August 2007.
According to prosecutors, the motive was linked to the boy's refusal of an advance, who, likely with a hammer, then struck her at least 12 times. The aggravating circumstances alleged are cruelty and abject motives.
Andrea Sempio has already been notified of the closure of the investigation, which therefore paves the way for the request for indictment.
The Pavia Prosecutor's Office will then forward the documents to the Milan Prosecutor's Office, as previously announced, to request a review of the trial, which ended in 2015 with a 16-year sentence for Alberto Stasi.
