For twenty years she taught English and German in elementary schools and high schools by presenting counterfeit qualifications and now the Court of Auditors of Lombardy has condemned her to repay the 247 thousand euros in salaries unduly collected from 2003 onwards.

A 49-year-old from Como will pay the bill.

The story began in October 2020, when the head teacher of a technical institute in Como checked the declarations submitted by the woman for the role that had started a month earlier and from the checks - as the newspaper Il Giorno reconstructs today - it emerged that the The 49-year-old never graduated in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures from the IULM in Milan and did not even obtain a master's degree from the "Matilde di Canossa" in Como, as she declared.

At that point the complaint was made to the Prosecutor's Office, which in January 2022 requested the professor's indictment for false certifications on her qualification.

Meanwhile, the provincial school office of Como has reported the case to the Court of Auditors: the investigations have established that the abusive activity must be dated back to the 2003-2004 school year.

"The service provided in the absence of the required qualification requirements - the judges of the Court of Auditors write in the sentence - is a useless service, if not even detrimental to the students' learning".
