Attempted attack by the Pisan ultras on the rossoblù fans who arrived in Tuscany for the away match which ended yesterday with a score of 0-0.

About 250 Pisa fans tried to attack Cagliari yesterday before the match, the Police had to carry out lightening charges to keep the two fans separate. The fans reacted by throwing stones and bottles, injuring three agents of the Mobile Department , while a smoke bomb burned the plastic mask of a police vehicle.

Investigations are underway on the episode by the Pisa Police Headquarters, which is examining the photos and videos collected.

According to an initial reconstruction, around 4.15 pm, about 80 Cagliari ultras gathered in the Paparelli car park to march in procession to the guests' sector of the Arena Garibaldi, the Pisa stadium . Several teams from the Mobile Department of the State Police were brought to the scene who belted the road and sent an urban transport bus to the scene to escort them to safety.

However, the much more numerous group of Tuscan supporters attempted to attack the guests, forcing the forces of order to carry out lightening charges which prevented contact between the two groups of fans . Nothing happened afterwards, neither during the matches nor during the outflow.

Now the police are trying to identify the protagonists of the stone throwing that injured the three officers.
