First the pepper spray in the classroom , then the rush to the hospital with 5 intoxicated students . It happened at the Marco Minghetti Institute in Legnago (Verona), where the management and teachers called for help after someone sprayed the stinging product.
Three 118 vehicles arrived on site, including ambulances and a medical car, the Carabinieri and Fire Brigade. The boys were treated at the “Mater Salutis” hospital in Legnago, where they arrived under the green code .
What is worrying is not so much the outcome of the stunt but the fact that it would not be the first case in a school in the capital of the lower Veronese area. Last November 23, at the "Medici" professional institute, more than 20 people, including students and teachers, felt ill from the fumes of the same product. Five had been taken to hospital under yellow code, 18 under green code.
