Overwhelmed by a wave while photographing the storm: tourist dies

A foreign tourist of about 50 died overwhelmed by a wave while she was photographing the current storm in the fjord of Furore , on the Amalfi coast.

In shock, the husband who managed to save himself thanks to the rope that a resident of the area threw at him, alerted by the screams of the couple.

His wife, who was unable to grab the rope, died at sea. His body was recovered afloat, a few meters from the coast, by the Amalfi Coast Guard .
