One-and-a-half-year-old boy run over and killed by school bus

A year-and-a-half-year-old boy died after being hit by the school bus his sister had just boarded.

The tragedy took place this morning around 10.30 in via Pisanelli in Casette d'Ete, in the province of Fermo .

According to the first reconstructions, perhaps the child , who was on the sidewalk, wanted to follow his sister on the school bus and moved towards the road just when the vehicle was reversing. The little one ended up under the right rear wheel : when the rescuers arrived, due to the very serious injuries sustained, he was already dead.

Up to now no elements against the driver have emerged and the tests and checks are also negative .

The carabinieri of Porto Sant'Elpidio and the traffic police intervened on the spot.
