Mystery in the countryside: a dead man and a dying woman

A dead man and a woman in very serious conditions were found this morning in the outskirts of Caporiacco di Colloredo di Monte Albano (Udine). He, 72, lived in the area, she - much younger - would be of foreign origin.
At the moment it is not clear what happened. From the first surveys carried out by the carabinieri who investigate in the utmost secrecy, they were both hit by gunshots.
The alarm was raised around 9.30: the medical helicopter and an ambulance were sent to the scene. For the 72-year-old there was nothing to do, while the woman was stabilized and transferred in desperate conditions to the intensive care unit in Udine.
"At the moment every hypothesis is open and the conclusions are absolutely premature", reported the Prosecutor of Udine Massimo Lia.
