"Displeasure" has filtered through from the upper echelons of Cologno Monzese over Justice Minister Carlo Nordio 's reaction, who announced a civil action against Bianca Berlinguer and Mediaset for the episode of "È sempre Cartabianca" about the Minetti case . On that occasion, "Report" host Sigfrido Ranucci , a guest on the program, cited an alleged source claiming Nordio had traveled to Uruguay, a claim denied by the minister himself. Following the TV statements, the Minister of Justice has revealed his intention to sue Ranucci, Mediaset, and Berlinguer.
Now comes the Cologno Monzese-based company's comment on the matter: "There's no leniency toward Ranucci's words," Mediaset sources claim, "because unverified news isn't news at all . Period. But anything can happen live, and the minister was able to immediately deny the studio guest's independent statements. As pluralist publishers, we don't censor. But we give everyone the opportunity to respond, as has happened."
