Migrants: transfers from Lampedusa to empty the hotspot. Cagliari among the destinations
According to the plan of the Prefecture of Agrigento, 70 people transported on a military plane will arrive on the island
Operations in progress to empty the Lampedusa hotspot .
At the moment there are 1,425 immigrant guests. Yesterday 363 refugees were transferred by ferry to Porto Empedocle and 526 by military ship Diciotti to Reggio Calabria.
According to the planning of the Prefecture of Agrigento in agreement with the Interior Ministry, another 70 migrants will be taken to Cagliari with a military plane.
