The last landing , on the largest of the Pelagie islands - in Sicily - was on November 22nd . But the migrant emergency does not stop , nor do the arrivals in Italian waters.

The patrol boats of the Coast Guard, the Financial Police and the Swedish Frontex ones, they rescued a fishing boat with 573 people on board off the coast of Lampedusa. On board, among others, four women and two little girls.

After disembarking at Favarolo pier , the group - which left Libya - is being transferred to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district , empty since Friday evening. They all originate from Syria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Ethiopia.
