The subjects for the second tests of the 2025 Maturity exam were announced today by the Ministry of Education.

These are all the subjects required for the second written test in technical institutes: Business Economics for the "Administration, Finance and Marketing" major (English language in the "International Relations for Marketing" major, Computer Science in the "Business Information Systems" major) and English language for the Tourism major; Geopedology, Economics and Valuation for the "Construction, Environment and Territory" major; in the "Computer Science and Telecommunications" major, Computer Science for the "Computer Science" major and Telecommunications for the "Telecommunications" major; Multimedia Design in the "Graphics and Communication" major; Economics, Valuation, Marketing and Legislation for the "Production and Transformation" and "Environmental and Land Management" majors of agricultural institutes (Oenology for the "Viticulture and Oenology" major).

Then there is a new feature: with a 6 in conduct at the final exam, students will also have to write an essay on active and supportive citizenship assigned by the class council and which will be the focus of the oral exam.

A third written test is also foreseen in some study programs (EsaBac sections, EsaBac techno, sections with international option, schools in the autonomous region of Valle d'Aosta, in the autonomous province of Bolzano and schools with Slovenian as the teaching language in Friuli Venezia Giulia).
