The measure of vigilance was ordered for the journalist of Tg1 Cinzia Fiorato and her partner, the lawyer Francesco Iacovino, victims of what they define as an act of intimidation. The car, made out to the man, was set on fire in the Monterotondo area, a few kilometers from Rome, in the night between Saturday and Sunday.

The lawyer wrote a message on social media, pointing the finger at those responsible: “If being free has a price, we want to be free at all costs and with us all those who believe in freedom and justice! You will never stop us, miserable ones! Cowardly cowards have burned our car but they will never burn our dignity! ”. The episode took place after the couple published images of a violent brawl “which took place on Friday at three in the morning between people drunk and out of every substance”, therefore unknown “they thought of silencing us by burning our car. The cowardly act took place in Piazza della Libertà, the one we have always been defending ”.

"The arson started from our Rover, whose tires were burned - he added - The flames then involved and destroyed the entire car and damaged two cars that were parked nearby. Monterotondo is now in the hands of the underworld and this very serious intimidation and retaliation action certainly intends to silence our activity of reporting criminal infiltrations into the nightlife of the city. Obviously we will not be intimidated, quite the contrary ".
