Luca Delfino, nicknamed the "girlfriend killer", is released from prison to serve another 6 and a half years in Rems (residence for surveillance measures). But the destination chosen to host causes discussion: Villa Caterina, on the heights of Genoa Pra ', would not be a maximum security structure and it is feared that the man could escape.

Delfino, 46, served the 16 years and 8 months to which he was sentenced for the murder of Antonella Multari , the sentence reduced for the choice to adhere to the abbreviated rite and for the recognition of a partial mental defect.

At Villa Caterina he stays in a single room, where he can have a television and a Playstation, but no internet or devices that allow him to communicate with the outside world.

In his judicial past, in addition to the conviction for the Multari murder, also the acquittal for the murder of another ex, Luciana Biggi, murdered in the alleys of Genoa in 2006. And from prison he would also have tried to organize the murder of Luciana's twin sister, Bruna.

Now, after the transfer from the La Spezia prison to Genoa, the greatest fear of Multari residents and family members is that Delfino might escape, as a guest recently managed to do, only to then return spontaneously.

In the past, the escape of a famous Genoa ultra, Piero Bottino known as the Shark, who died a few hours after the escape in a motorcycle accident on the A26, made headlines.

The medical director of the facility Paolo Rossi, however, underlined that "the level of attention is maximum" . While in recent days his lawyer Riccardo Lamonaca had explained that «Dolphin does not want to escape and is not spider-man. However, he is anxious to get out of prison and embark on this new path which for him will also be a path of treatment ».

Of the opposite opinion Rosa Tripodi, mother of Antonella Multari, killed by Delfino with 46 stab wounds at the exit of a beauty center in via Volta, in Sanremo: « Don't let him out, because he will still hurt. My fear is that he might escape from one of these institutes to come and find me . He promised he would make me pay,” the woman said.
