Vasile Frumuzache , the self-confessed killer of Maria Denisa Adas , when questioned again by the prosecutor's office , confessed to another crime involving a Romanian escort, Ana Maria Andrei, who disappeared on 1 August 2024 in Montecatini Terme , in the province of Pistoia.

When asked by investigators why the man kept the car of a woman who disappeared in 2024 in his garage, he allegedly responded by saying that he stabbed her to death after the woman refused to provide paid sexual services.

"She tried to escape and I stabbed her," he said. After the confession, the remains of Andrei's body were found in a field.

Frumuzache was arrested on Thursday for the murder of Maria Denisa Adas . He confessed to investigators that he killed the 30-year-old because she had blackmailed him by threatening to reveal to his wife that they had paid for sex if he did not give her 10,000 euros .

The man, a 32-year-old Romanian security guard, said he strangled her in the room of the residence in Prato where they had arranged to meet, then decapitated her and put her head in a garbage bag, which he placed in the victim's suitcase along with the rest of her body, loading everything into the trunk of his car.
