The DNA found on the cord that tightened the two nylon bags around the neck in which the head of Liliana Resinovich was stuck - the 63-year-old from Trieste, who disappeared from home on 14 December last and was found lifeless on 5 January in the nearby grove of the former hospital psychiatric - it is not the husband's, nor the friend's, nor the neighbor's.

None of the three are currently under investigation but the investigators have asked them for the DNA to compare it with the biological material extracted from the find.

According to the forensic, they were not the ones who touched that cord and therefore killed the woman. Then another trail opens up, that of suicide.

Liliana Resinovich's body was found in two black garbage bags, open, one stuffed by the head and the other by the feet. Even though the sacks were open, his condition had made one think of the murder. Now, however, the traces on the cord show the other hypothesis: the woman's DNA was clearly found, next to the male one, very weak.

The investigators, however, decided to compare it with that of her husband, a friend and former marathoner, and a neighbor who attended Liliana and his wife with his wife. But nothing emerged.
