Luna Rossa Dream in Naples: Team New Zealand Defeated
The Italian AC40 dominates the final match race in the Gulf after their success in Cagliari. A flawless race gives the Italian crew their second America's Cup preliminary race.

Luna Rossa wins the final match race against Emirates Team New Zealand, thus winning the second America's Cup preliminary regatta in the waters of the Gulf of Naples, as it did in Cagliari in May. The Italian AC40 once again beats the Kiwis after a flawless race. The boats were level in the first part of the race, but then Luna Rossa manages to build a lead that it maintains until the finish line.
