She is under house arrest with an electronic bracelet awaiting trial for attempting to poison her husband with rat poison.

For the woman, a 46-year-old Moldovan citizen, resident in Rimini for years and defended by the lawyer Luca Greco, the Public Prosecutor's Office has requested trial.

As reported by the local press, the file, which now belongs to the deputy prosecutor Luca Bertuzzi, according to the prosecutor's office already contains all the elements against the woman to be able to proceed with the immediate trial formula.

According to the prosecution, in fact, the 46-year-old attempted to kill her husband a little at a time as is done with mice, or by mixing the poison in the food, a circumstance which often forced the man to resort to hospital due to atrocious pain. .

The doctors' suspicions arose when starting from July 2022, after the man, a 54-year-old Albanian citizen, had been hospitalized several times, showing symptoms compatible with rat poisoning on all occasions.

Confirmation then came with clinical examinations and tests which ascertained the man's blood positivity to the active ingredients of Bromadiolone and Coumatetralyl, chemical elements contained in rat poison. The doctors thus understood that the 54-year-old every time he arrived in hospital he had taken doses of potentially lethal substances.

The police then found and seized, in a drawer of the bedroom wardrobe, a syringe containing an unknown reddish substance.

The subsequent technical consultancy ordered by the Prosecutor's Office then established that the liquid was bromadiolone. So the 46-year-old was placed under house arrest.

For her part, the woman denied the accusation, but was unable to explain how the rat poison ended up in her husband's food.

From what we learn, the two spouses had separated for some time, then formally reconciled.
