It is the first letter from prison by Alessandro Impagnatiello , sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Giulia Tramontano and the child the girl was pregnant with.
The former bartender sent it via his brother Omar to “La Zanzara” and the letter was read live by host Giuseppe Cruciani.
Impagnatiello apologizes again to Giulia and her family, and attacks the media .
"Every moment of my existence is dedicated to her. And so even now the first words are exclusively for you Giuliet, for the wonderful girl that you were, that you are and that you will be . Because inside me you will never stop shining . As useless and embarrassing as they are, I offer my apologies again to you, to your wonderful family and to all the people touched by this inexplicable and crazy evil . I miss you", he writes.
"I know there are many other things to say, you and I say them every night, you already know. Now - continues Impagnatiello - I would like to draw attention to something that goes unnoticed: TV and its collateral victims ."
The barman then attacks the media (" I would like to be the last media case ") and the magistrates, who according to him would have chosen the dates of the hearings "to make them attractive to the public" . But "all this", he concludes, "will never detach me from the main and constant thought that I have for you Giuliet, from the void that I have left and from the abyss in which I swim. Again and eternally I ask you for forgiveness".
The laconic reply of Loredana Femiano and Franco Tramontano, Giulia's parents , entrusted to Instagram. The photo of a rodent and the caption: " You are a miserable. No, not the rat. You."
