“I've lived in the hole for seven years. There is my cot, my stool, my Jesus. The rest of life hangs on the walls, at least what remains ”. These are some phrases contained in the composition written by Massimo Bossetti, the former carpenter from Mapello definitively sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of 13-year-old Yara Gambirasio. The man, from the Bollate prison (in the Milanese area), devotes himself to literature and also won a prize in the "Writers in 2021" competition in which he finished third. This was told by his lawyer, Claudio Salvagni, guest of a broadcast on Telelombardia, after the anticipation revealed by the weekly “Oggi”.

Bossetti was arrested in June 2014. The body of Yara, killed on November 26, 2010, was found three months later in a field in Chignolo.
