Double murder in Fano (Pesaro-Urbino), where husband and wife were killed .

The 75-year-old man had his head smashed with a blunt instrument, the 70-year-old woman was suffocated , most likely by strangulation. There was a fight in the house, the old man tried in every way to defend himself , in vain.

The alarm was raised by the couple's 40-year-old son, Luca, who lives alone in the apartment on the upper floor of his parents' house , in via Fanella 127 . The firefighters arrived on site and, at 7.30, broke down the door and found the bodies of Luigi Ricci and Luisa Marconi .

The forty-year-old is under interrogation and has declared that he is uninvolved in the facts .

The Flying Squad is on site, listening to the tenants of the building, the scientific police for investigations and the head of the prosecutor's office and magistrate on duty Maria Letizia Fucci.

According to the first details to emerge, the couple killed today were supposed to hand over their 75m2 house, which went up for auction last September and sold to a plumber for around 60 thousand euros.
