Husband and wife found dead at home: the murder-suicide hypothesis

Husband and wife found dead at home in Agropoli, in the province of Salerno.

Investigations are underway by the Carabinieri: according to an initial reconstruction, he, 63 years old, a pizza chef, stabbed to death his wife, 43 years old, a bank employee, in the house in via Donizetti and then took his own life with her weapon.

His 13-year-old daughter was in the house but, as far as we know, she was sleeping. The alarm was raised by the woman's mother who turned to the Carabinieri after seeing that her daughter was not answering her phone calls.
