A 45-year-old hunter from Roccadaspide, in the province of Salerno, was attacked by an angry wild boar during a hunt and suffered serious consequences, ending up in hospital.

The accident occurred in the Mainardi area of Aquara. According to a first reconstruction, the animal suddenly attacked the hunter who was hit several times in different parts of the body.

Numerous injuries were sustained, one in particular to the leg, considered very serious, which also resulted in copious blood loss.

Immediately helped by his batting companions, the 45-year-old was rushed to the Roccadaspide hospital, where doctors applied around eighty stitches.
