Fatal accident this morning in Milan. In Viale Forlanini an ATM bus hit and killed a 48-year-old. The intervention of the rescuers was useless.

The victim, Fabio Buffo, was walking with his dog and from initial findings he was on the pedestrian crossing when he was hit.

The public transport, even if the dynamics is still to be ascertained, was preceded by another ATM vehicle. We are trying to understand whether a car, which apparently was parked on or near the crossing, may have partially obstructed the vision of the driver, a 50-year-old who was taken to hospital in a state of shock.

The bus was traveling at a low speed but the impact with the vehicle was fatal.
