Alberto Scagni beaten to death in the cell of the Sanremo prison where he is detained for the murder of his sister Alice , which occurred on May 1, 2022 in Genoa.
The prison police, who intervened with force on the orders of the magistrate on duty, saved the 42-year-old's life . The brutal attack took place in the protected "detainees" section of the prison, carried out by two North Africans.
Both detainees were arrested for attempted murder and kidnapping .
Scagni, who had already been beaten in Genoa prison, was transferred to hospital, his condition is critical .
The 42-year-old was sentenced to 24 and a half years for the murder of his sister . According to what we learn, he always argued with his relatives over money, and persecuted his grandmother and neighbors. On the evening of May 1st he waited for Alice outside her house for hours and upon her arrival he stabbed her to death.
