Head-on crash between two cars in the Florentine area, three dead

Christmas tragedy in the Florentine area, where three people died in a road accident along the provincial road 131, in Via del Lago in Barberino del Mugello.

At approximately 4.35pm there was a very violent head-on collision between two cars, no one survived. The firefighters extracted a man from a car, which caught fire following the impact, for whom there was nothing that could be done. Same fate for the two occupants of the second car, also extracted by the firefighters, the medical staff were only able to confirm their death.

Traffic remained blocked for a long time and in addition to the firefighters, the police and 118 personnel were also on site.
