The events took place in Marghera (Venice). The two, separated for some time, met to agree on the management of their daughter. He first tried to convince his ex-wife to resume the relationship, then attempted a sexual approach. And in the face of the woman's clear refusal, he insisted, starting to use force, so she, in an attempt to defend herself, reached for a knife and partially emasculated her ex-husband. The woman was also injured in the scuffle.
The man, a 43-year-old foreigner, was rushed to the hospital in Mestre where the doctors underwent a delicate operation and succeeded in recomposing the emasculated part. His life is not in danger but he will have to remain hospitalized for several days. Even if the operation was successful, the risk of a rejection is high.
