He tried to make a pan of lasagna disappear from a deli shop, but when it was discovered the situation gradually degenerated, to the point that the carabinieri had to intervene, putting him in handcuffs.

The protagonist, in negative, of the affair - which took place in Monterosso, a well-known locality in the Ligurian Cinque Terre - a 46-year-old of Sardinian origin, who will now have to answer for the charge of robbery.

According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the man entered a deli, grabbed a pan of lasagna and tried to escape. The owner noticed it and drew the attention of two customers, who tried to stop the 46-year-old before he disappeared. The man, however, reacted violently, throwing a head butt and a few punches at the two.

At that point, however, 112 had already been alerted. The men of the Arma, arrived on the spot, immobilized him and took him to the barracks.

The two affected customers, on the other hand, were treated by 118. For one of them it was necessary to be admitted to the emergency room at the Levanto hospital. The report issued by the doctors could therefore aggravate the position of the 46-year-old Sardinian, homeless and already known to the police, who risks having to answer even for injuries.

For the moment, according to the local press, the judge has validated the arrest and ordered the pre-trial detention in prison.
