The life sentence for 36-year-old Mohssine Azhar, tried in Turin for the case of Fatima, the 3-year-old girl who died in January 2022 after falling from the balcony on the fourth floor of a building in the historic center of the capital, was confirmed on appeal Piedmontese.

The charge against the 36-year-old is voluntary homicide.

Little Fatima was the daughter of the woman with whom the accused was having an affair at the time. Mohssine has always maintained that it was an accident that occurred while he was playing with the child.

For the prosecution, however, it was a deliberate gesture.
