A 63-year-old man shot and killed his 35-year-old disabled daughter and then turned the gun on himself, taking his own life.

It happened in Bosco dei Preti, a residential area of Avellino.

The investigations are being conducted by Flying Squad officers and, according to a first hypothesis, the man would have fired a regularly held gun.

At the time of the tragedy, the 35-year-old's mother was present in the house. From what transpires the latter was suffering from a serious pathology.
