Femicide in Veneto.

A 60-year-old woman, Cinzia Luison, was killed with bottles by her 65-year-old husband Giuseppe Pitteri, known as Walter.

It all happened around 10 in the morning in the couple's apartment , in an elegant building near the center of San Stino di Livenza, in the province of Venice.

The man, until a few years ago an employee of Actv, the Venetian public transport company, killed the woman - owner of a well-known hairdressing salon, based in Pramaggiore (Venice) - at the end of a violent argument.

After the crime, Pitteri dialed the 112 number: "I killed my wife," he said. For Cinzia Luison there was nothing left to do. Taken into custody by investigators, the man was taken to the barracks and then arrested for voluntary manslaughter .

«The community - said the mayor of San Stino, Matteo Cappelletto - is in shock due to an absolutely inexplicable tragedy, in a family of which we had never heard of there could be disagreements. I knew the victim by sight. The house is a few tens of meters from the Town Hall; we often greeted Cinzia in the bar near the house. A superficial knowledge, but which allowed me to appreciate his smile and his great kindness. With her husband, meetings were more sporadic ».
